András Lőke - president András Lőke edited the Interview section of HVG, also being author to articles on international politics and economy, mainly Middle Eastern and European affairs. He has been the chairman of the Soma Göbölyös Foundation, a civil organization for endorsing investigative journalism, since 2001. As a grantee of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, in 1994 he studied grass-roots movements in the US. He took his MA degree from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, in English and Oriental Studies. |

Ágnes Bátory - board member Agnes Batory is an assistant professor and research fellow at the Central European University. She holds a law degree from ELTE Budapest and a PhD in International Relations from Cambridge University. Prior to joining CEU in 2003, she worked at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office and had contributed to various research projects while in the UK. Her professional interests include comparative politics and public policy with a focus on European integration, transparency and good governance. She currently teaches graduate courses on these subjects including corruption control and public sector ethics, and contributes to professional training and curriculum development efforts internationally. |

Mária Dunavölgyi - board member Maria Dunavölgyi is founder and CEO of Aromo companies and teaches courses on regulation, leadership and mathematics at Corvinus School of Management, Budapest. She held various key executive positions in the financial and the consulting sector in the past 20 years, having been deputy CEO of the Hungarian Government Debt Management Agency, the CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange and a Management Consulting Partner at Deloitte. She also worked for MasterCard and was the chairwomen and CEO of OTP Apartment Leasing Ltd. as well as the chairwoman of the Hungarian Leasing Association. At the beginning of her career she worked as a research fellow both in Hungary and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. She has published several articles on various economic and financial topics. She holds a degree in economics and is currently working on her PhD thesis. She is a mother of two sons and has many hobbies including cultural activities, sports and social events. |

Péter Holtzer - board member Partner at ORIENS IM. Peter worked for 13 years in the Hungarian asset management industry, managed two of the leading companies, and was chairman of the fund managers’ association for a few years. He started to be involved in pension system issues during that time, and participated in the preparation of the 1997 pension reform. He has taken part in pension consulting projects for the World Bank in Nigeria, Uganda and Bosnia, among others. Besides other pension-related engagements Peter has been the chairman of the Pension and Old Age Roundtable since 2007. In recent years he has been involved in projects which are important for him, such as, besides Transparency International, working on studies dealing with growth, employment, tax system, public education and roma issues; Common Purpose Hungary; Foundation for Self Provision; „Gézengúz” Foundation for Children with Birth Injuries. He is trying to spend much time with his two children, is a heavy reader of predominantly history-related books, plays football, is a frequent visitor to classical music concerts, and tries to support some of his musician friends with ideas and contacts. |

József Péter Martin - board member After having been trained at Corvinus University of Budapest, Mr. Martin started his journalistic career at Világgazdaság, Hungarian business daily. Then, he worked 12 years at the editorial office of Figyelő, business weekly where he filled in the positions of journalist, head of section, deputy editor-in-chief, and editor-in-chief from 2003 until 2009. Ringier, the Swiss media group asked him to launch a new quality Sunday paper but then, due to the financial crisis, the project was stopped. Nowadays, Mr. Martin appears in the domestic and international publications and media, he is chief economist of Bruxinfo, editor of Európai Tükör (European Mirror), a review, and works as consultant and analyst for a number of private and public institutions. In 2010 he was co-author of a book on the financial crisis (“Álomcsőd” – Dream Default). He is member of jury of the Prize for Qualitative Journalism. He teaches European studies and economic journalism at the Corvinus University of Budapest. |

Miklós Ligeti - legal director Lawyer, graduated in 2002 at the Law Faculty of Eötvös Lóránd University of Sciences. While studying law, he worked as trainee with the committee on environmental protection of the Hungarian Parliament, contributing to environmental protection projects of municipalities (1999-2000). From 2000 to 2002 he was paralegal first with CMS Cameron McKenna, later with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer law firms. After graduation he joined National Institute of Criminology, where as assistant researcher he focused on the issue of criminal law protection of the environment. Absolving bar exams, he changed for the Ministry of Justice and law Enforcement in 2007. Acting as personal secretary to the under state secretary for crime policy, later as head of Statistical and Analysis Unit he was mainly in charge of criminal codification and crime statistics. From 2010 to 2012 he served as head of Statistics and Coordination Unit in the Ministry of the Interior, being responsible for the codification of laws on policing and national security as well as for measuring crime. |

Alíz Szloboda - head of public sector programs She graduated from the University of Szeged, Faculty of Law in 2000, later she became a Professional Lawyer in European Law, specialized in finance. Bar examined lawyer, tax adviser, public procurement specialist. She worked at the Department of VAT in the Ministry of Finance, and after in the field of regional development for almost eight years, during this period she headed the legal Office of VÁTI Hungarian Public Nonprofit Company for Regional Development and Town Planning for four years, where she was managing and coordinating the legal issues of the Company, monitoring the implementations of the laws concerning the activity and operations of the Company. As such she got familiar with the Hungarian institutional system on the utilization of the subsidies of the EU, and the regulations for public procurement. At TI Hungary she leads the public sector programs. |

Dora Rechnitzer - head of business projects Dora Rechnitzer graduated in University of Law of Eotvos Lorant University of Sciences in Budapest as Juris Doctor in 1998. She worked as a paralegal, associate and attorney at law in one of the biggest Hungarian law firms for 5 years. She obtained a EU Law Specialist post-graduate degree in 2001. She was co-founder and partner in the green-field set-up of successful independent law-office, representing Hungarian and foreign owned small and medium sized companies, as well as governmental organizations. She lived in Warsaw and Moscow for 8 years. She worked for 2 years as Business Development Manager at a Russian real estate company in Moscow. She was a member of the board of directors of „Big Brothers and Big Sisters Russia”, one of the most effective mentoring programs for children in difficult life situations. She currently completes a master program in Fletcher School in International Relations. |

Emese Hortobágyi - head of people engagement programs Emese has an MA degree in communication studies, Hungarian language and literature and BA degree in international relations. She joined TI Hungary in 2009 and she is responsible for strengthen the organization’s emerging social networking efforts, improving online tools and developing advocacy campaigns. She is active in recruiting and creating volunteer network and developing people & youth engagement programs. Emese has worked for four months with Citizens Union of the City of New York in the framework of IREX’s Community Solutions Program. |

Brigitta Krizsán - project manager She graduated in international relations at the Faculty of Law of University of Szeged in 2009. After that she acquired a master’s degree in international business and economy. At the present time she is a final-year law student at the University of Szeged.

Krisztina Papp - project manager Economist, spent 20 years in finance at different financial institutions. She started her career as an investment banker, gained experience in corporate finance, worked 2 years for Prudential Investment Corporation and spent 12 years with the Hungarian subsidiary of GE Money Bank (Budapest Bank) where she headed the project finance desk in the past years. She is responsible for the financial, HR and operations management, workflow and project co-ordination at TI. |

Mária Barna - project manager Maria graduated in 2009 at the Psychology Faculty of ELTE, and obtained a second MA in 2011 at the Central European University’s Nationalism Studies Program. She worked at non-profit organizations dealing with Roma and migrants, as well as a translator and interpreter of English and Italian languages. She joined TI in 2013, where she is in charge of fundraising and project management. |

Judit Dietz-Blaskó - project manager When she received her M.Sc. degree in Economics at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1998, she started working for the Hungarian National Bank, at the Money and Foreign Exchange Market Department, later she joined General Electric as a Financial Analyst. When in 2005 she received her J. D. degree from ELTE University, she started working for Hungarian Law Firms specializing in financial and bank law. In 2009 she decided to pursue her original plan to be part of the fight against corruption in Hungary. At Transparency International she is leading projects concerning public procurements and she is organizing the activities for the Corporate Supporters Forum. In her spare time she plays tennis, likes to travel, and manages her mini book publishing company. |

Diána Sebestyén - office manager She graduated from the University of Debrecen in 2000 as a teacher of English grammar and literature. After 5 years of teaching and interpreting, she sought new challenges. Parallel with her studies at the Budapest Business School, she experienced the amazing world of the hospitality industry as the marketing manager of Radisson Blu Béke Hotel. Civil society and TI Hungary serve as the next great journey for her. As office manager, she supports the daily operation as well as the event management of the organization. |

Lóránd Gyenge - financial manager Lóránd studied both Romanian Literature and Aesthetics of Film at the Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest while simultaneously studying accounting, and obtained his accounting qualification in 2003. He worked at a low-level harm-reduction outreach organization for six years as an accountant and youth counselor. Since 2009 he has been teaching administration to youth-counseling students at the Eötvös Loránd University’s Faculty of Elementary and Nursery School Teacher’s Training, and also helps other nonprofit organizations with their finances. Lóránd joined Transparency International Hungary in April 2011. |
